Kelly Schurger was raised in the rolling hills of Tennessee and spent much of her time growing up exploring her love for art. After deciding that painting was her future, Kelly received formal training in both Tennessee and Illinois. Upon completion, she moved to Denver with her husband Stephen, where she is currently a part time studio artist and full time mom.

Using a unique blend of color and texture, Kelly creates her distinctive contemporary landscapes. Having learned to gather inspiration from her surroundings, Kelly's ultimate goal is to remind us that beauty is always around us. Be it a single cloud, a grove of trees, or the setting of the sun.
